Gaels Outmatch Hamden
Hamden, CT — On a chilly Thursday night the Freshman Gaels proved to be too much for the Hamden Green Dragons defeating them 42-20. The Gael's defense had two defensive scores one of which came from defense tackle Ricky Fernandez-Salvador for the play of the game. Evan "Boots" Bouteiller ran in a pick 6 making this his 5th straight game with an interception. The Gaels secondary came up with a third inception from DB Kayden Lancaster making it a third takeaway for the Shelton defense.

Gaels Roll Xavier
Shelton, CT — The Gaels came out strong scoring in their opening drive with a nice long TD run from Cole St Pierre. The Gael's defense quickly got the ball back on a fumble recovery from Matt Gebuza giving the Gael's great field position for the second possession of the game. St Pierre again dominating the field with another break away run but knocked out of bounds at the 2 yard line setting the Gaels to a first and goal. A direct snap to AJ Hatfield lead to the Gaels second TD before the end of the first quarter.

Gaels Hang Tough to Beat North Haven
North Haven, CT — Great game by our Freshmen Gael's yesterday afternoon beating out a physical North Haven football team. Both our defense and offense hung tough to seal the win. RB Cole St. Pierre dominated the run game with four rushing TDs and one receiving. Evan "Boots" Bouteiller also snagged a TD pass from Jackson Hyner in the opening series. There were several lead changes through out the game but in the fourth quarter the Gael's defense prevailed preventing North Haven from their 2 point conversion attempt and shut them down for the rest of the quarter. Shout out to the defensive and offensive lines for their hard hits and big blocks that helped put the game away. Next week out Gael's are off to Hamden for another exciting football game!!
