Seann Katubi led the Mountaineers in scoring with 16 points while also tallying 9 rebounds. Sophomore Will Njoroge added 9 points on 4/6 shooting while also taking on the responsibilities of guard St. John's star guard, Nick Barnes. Hunter Berry also added 12 points while being named to the all tournament team. Wachusett will now travel to Fitchburg this Friday to begin their Mid-Wach A schedule.

Worcester, MA — The Highlanders (5-0) used their transition game to break open a close contest early in the second quarter and never trailed again while defeating the Mountaineers (1-3) in the opening round of the Laska Yuletide Invitational.
