Elk Grove, CA — PGHS Wrestling brought 20 Varsity wrestlers to Delta League Championships seeking to advance to Divisional and Regional Championships next week.

Redondo Beach, CA — PG Varsity Boys traveled down to SoCal to compete in the 2nd Annual Redondo Union HS Invitational capping of the last regular season tournament as we head into the postseason grind.

Antelope, CA — The Pleasant Grove Varsity Boys competed at the Inaugural Antelope Titan Tussle, with several wresters out for various reasons, the depleted War Eagles battled through small but competitive brackets. 6 wresters advancing to the medal rounds with Captain Jonathan Basco capturing 1st place at the 122lbs. Overall the team showed patience and grit with the extra work in practice showing up in individual matches.

Sacramento, 95814, CA — The Pleasant Grove Varsity Boys competed at The 29th annual Tim Brown Memorial Tournament, one of the toughest events of the season, featuring 700 wrestlers from 89 teams. With many highly ranked competitors in the field, the level of competition was extremely high. Nine advanced to the second day, and our wrestlers rose to the challenge, battling through brackets and hard-fought matches. Captain Kavon Lloyd fought his way to a Top 12 finish. Overall the team showed grit, resilience, and determination throughout the tournament, gaining valuable experience against elite competition and representing the program with pride.

Concord, 94521 , CA — Our LadyWarEagles had a great tournament at the Contest of Champions. Unfortunately the team is a little smaller than when we started this season due to injuries but this small but mighty squad continues to find a way!!

Concord, 94521 , CA — Varsity Boys War Eagles delivered an outstanding performance at Concord’s Contest of Champions, competing against 50+ teams and 300+ wrestlers. The team rose to the challenge and finished 1st place overall, showcasing determination and high-level competition throughout the tournament.

Citrus Heights, CA — Pleasant Grove HS Boys JV Team headed to Citrus Heights today for the Maverick Roundup. The entire team rallied around each other and battled through some tough matches all day.

Lodi, CA — Big adjustment for our young men this weekend as they had to face the prospect of elimination in a tournament for the first time. It adds a lot of pressure to compete knowing that a mistake can end your day. Yet they still rose to the occasion and left it on the mat this weekend. While some ended on heart breaking defeats it was a successful day of learning and we cannot wait to get back on the mat and improve.

West Sacramento, CA — Very happy we were part of this inaugural memorial tournament, all in all it was a great day and the message put forth was powerful!

Rancho Cordova, CA — Our JV boys had an excellent showing today at the Cordova Toe to Toe JV Tournament. Everyone fought tough matches and many showed significant improvement just over the last few weeks. The coaches couldn’t be prouder of everyone’s effort and determination. The team supported one another by cheering each other on. Future is bright!

Granite Bay, 95746, CA — The Granite Bay Wrestling Tournament was the perfect reflection of all the hard work, grit, and teamwork our athletes have poured in throughout this early season. From early training sessions to extra practice preparation, every bit of effort showed on the mats. The determination, discipline, and support for one another paid off in a big way—culminating in an outstanding performance and bringing home the 1st Place Team Trophy. Proud again is an understatement. This team earned every moment of it.

Roseville, 95747, CA — The JV Squad showed up to West Park Tournament ready to get after it! More experienced wrestlers like Cristian Rodriguez,  Devin Tran, Frankie Suda, and Dalton Suda showed their experience and went undefeated and took 1st in their pools.   

Lodi, CA — Goddess of War has grown to be a premier girls tournament, teams are traveling to test themselves against this level of competition. Having said that, the 6x LadyWarEagles that battled with everything they had, showed up understanding their assignments and that was to learn something about themselves. That happens best when kids truly push themselves and we all learned quite a bit yesterday, all positive!!
