The Zee-Bees lose the lead early in defeat

The Stevenson Patriots put up runs early and often, defeating the Zee-Bees 11-1. Michael Gonzalez, John Bass, and Andrew Mitchell each collected one hit to lead the Bee's offense. Mitchell drove in the Bee's only run, scoring Michael Gonzalez from third. Sammy Villarreal took the loss on the mound allowing 3 earned runs through 1 and 1/3 of an inning. The Zee-Bees return to action on Saturday against Wilmot High School.

The Zee-Bees down Stevenson

The Zee-Bees downed Stevenson 6-4 Tuesday evening. In the first inning, the Bees started their offense. John Bass singled home two runs. Andrew Mitchell added to the Zee-Bees total, hitting a sacrifice fly to score Ivan Jones. The Bees added additional runs in the fourth, fifth, & sixth innings on two hits from Michael Gonzalez & John Bass, a sacrifice fly from Adrian Gonzalez, and Julian Guzman scoring on a passed ball.

The Zee Bees slide into a blow out win over Waukegan

The Zee-Bee Freshmen did away with Waukegan 15-4 on Tuesday. The Bee's got things started in the first inning. An error scored one run for the Bees. The Zee Bees added seven more runs in the fourth inning. The Bee's offense this inning was led by Adrian Gonzalez and Aaden Grider, singles by Julian Guzman and Sammy Villarreal, and an error on a ball put in play by Jack Marabella & Ivan Jones. Carl Harmon III earned the win for the Zee-Bees. The righthander went one inning, allowing two runs on zero hits and striking out one. Guzman and Caleb Ondo entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. The Zee-Bees collected 10 hits. Marabella, Jaxon Zaugra, and Villarreal each racked up multiple hits for the Bees. Grider led the Zee Bees with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases.

Zee-Bees lose early lead in defeat

The Zee-Bees fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-2 loss to Lake Forest on Tuesday. Andrew Mitchell went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Zee-Bees in hits. Sammy Villarreal, Ivan Jones, Aaden Grider, & Mikey Gonzalez also contributed hits to the cause with Mikey Gonzalez driving in the Bee's two runs. The Zee-Bees are back in action this Saturday for a double-header at Antioch High School.
