The Zee-Bees put up a valiant fight but fell to the Patriots in the bottom on the 7th on Monday. Andrew Mitchell threw 6 and 1/3 innings only allowing 1 earned run while striking out 4.
Rafael Villalobos Jr. was dominant on the hill, as the starting pitcher rang up 10 strikeouts in the Zee-Bee's 8-4 victory over Waukegan under the lights at Bowen Park. Villalobos Jr. threw a complete game, allowing 3 hits and 4 runs, while walking only 3.
The Zee-Bees defeated the Waukegan Bulldogs 10-1 on Monday. The Bees got on the board in the bottom of the firs tinning after two errors plated 3 runs. Jack Marabella then added to the scoring with a sacrifice fly to right field, scoring Mikey Gonzalez.
The Zee-Bees lost to the Sabers by a score of 3-2 Saturday morning. The Sabers scored their runs early, all with two outs. Jake Mitchell started the game, throwing 5 innings and striking out 6. Sammy Villarreal came in relief and threw two scoreless innings striking out 4.
