On Monday evening, at their home field, they ended a historic losing streak to the Santa Ana Saints with a 2-0 win that left the Knights' sideline in jubilant celebration. Coming into the match as significant underdogs, with an overall record of 0-10-2 and having lost their last two games by a score of 5-0 each, Foothill’s performance was nothing short of extraordinary. Missing several key players, including captain Jacob Garcia and other key contributors, the Knights played with unmatched intensity and teamwork, proving that heart and resilience can overcome even the toughest of odds.

Santa Ana, CA — On a rainy Thursday evening, the Foothill Knights faced off against the Beckman Patriots in a heated match that ended in a heartbreaking 3-2 defeat. The game, which also marked Senior Night for the Foothill Class of 2025, began with high emotions and celebrations before the whistle blew. However, what followed was a series of early mistakes that ultimately cost the Knights the game, despite a valiant comeback effort.

Yorba Linda, CA — Foothill made the trip to Yorba Linda's stadium on a crisp January evening for the last conference game before they kick off Crestview competition next week. Yorba Linda entered the match with 2 consecutive wins after stunning Canyon 4-3 in comeback fashion two days earlier and Foothill was riding a 3 game win streak into the contest. One win streak would come to an end by the end of the evening.

Santa Ana, CA — The Foothill Knights came back to Mater Dei as part of a Winter Showcase on Thursday and Friday before the New Year to take on Santa Barbara and Pacifica (Oxnard). The event was orchestrated by the coaches looking to get competitive matches with quality teams before seasons opens in January. Thursday's matchups were Foothill (A) v Santa Barbara (H) at 4pm and Pacifica (Oxnard) (A) v Mater Dei (H) at 6pm.

Fullerton, CA — The Knights traveled to Fullerton on Friday evening to take on the Indians on their home field. Foothill met Fullerton twice last season in the Marina Tournament, losing the first contest by a score of 0-5 and then fighting back to the semi final but still losing 0-1 in the last 2 minutes of play. Foothill has been improving as a squad so far this season and looked to steal a win from the favored Fullerton Indians.

Tustin, CA — Foothill welcomed Beckman to the Northrup Stadium for the last leg of the city championship Wednesday night in the pouring rain. Tustin High School had won the city title the previous 2 seasons (22/23 and 21/22) and Foothill needed to go back 7 years to the 2017/18 season for the last time they held that title. Beckman has never held the city title. The Tustin city title is a bit of a misnomer because Beckman is located in the city of Irvine but is part of TUSD and Foothill is technically located in Santa Ana/County of Orange. Regardless, whether it should be called Tustin Unified District Championship or Tustin City Championship, the competition gives friends and families that attend our area schools an opportunity to determine the champion.
