JV Suffers a loss to Stoney Creek

A rainy game day made for a low scoring game. Both teams started with a turn over on downs, which ate up time in the first quarter ending the 1st with no score. The 2nd quarter started with some excitement from the Highlanders with a fumble recovery by Hart, but that was followed by little action taking us into the half with still a scoreless football game.

Highlanders suffer their first loss

Despite tremendous 2nd half efforts, the JV team's fight wasn't enough. Dewitt Panthers scored first within the first 3 minutes into the 1st Q with a successful 2 point conversion, which seemed to be a pattern for the Panthers. The Panthers started the 2nd Q with a blocked punt that led to their 2nd TD & 2 point conversion of the night. The Panthers continued to cause issues for the Highlanders' defense, scoring once more before half time, leaving the Highlanders unable to answer with a 28-0 half time score.

Adams Defeats Seaholm

The Highlanders travelled to Birmingham this weekend to play the Seaholm Maples and left no doubt who was the top dog in this fight.

Adams Runs Over Cross Town Rival Rochester High In Week 4

Adams JV traveled to Rochester High this week for a big cross town rival showdown. Adams started the game off strong with a safety on RH's first possession. The ensuing kick resulted in a Highlanders TD by King put the Highlanders up 8-0. The Highlanders continued there offensive assault when Andrejack scored on a short scamper after a big gain by Heppner. Watters connected on the extra point and the Highlanders went up 15-0.
