Cayne Hill drove in six runs on three hits to lead Vanden past Armijo 12-2 on Friday. Hill doubled in the first inning with a bases loaded clearing double. He added a single in the fourth and singled in the fifth scoring two. Vanden jumped out to an early lead after Hill cleared the bases and Myles Adams was struck by a pitch driving in a run.
The Vikings scored six runs in the top of the seventh to have a comeback win with a score of 11-8. Alex Maushart collected three hits in three at bats. Maushart singled in the first inning, singled in the second, and singled in the sixth inning.
Vanden Vikings scored seven runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Leroy Greene Academy 8-2 on Wednesday. Bryce Alcantara singled, scoring one run, Cayne Hill drew a walk, scoring one run, Myles Adams singled scoring two runs, Kekoa Grinton singled scoring two runs, and Alex Maushart drew a walk, scoring one run.
Vanden Vikings won big over Wood 15-8 on a continuation game from Wednesday. Ryan Cahalan grounded out, which helped Vanden tie the game at one in the top of the second. An error gave Wood the lead 2-1, in the bottom of the second. Vanden took the lead in the top of the third inning after Bryce Alcantara singled, Austin Hammerschmidt singled, and Cayne Hill singled, each scoring one run.
