Amsterdam, NY — BHBL Varsity Spartans snatched the lead late in their 9-6 win over CBA Varsity. The game was tied at 6 in the top of the eighth when Christopher Puliafico singled, scoring two runs. The ball got by the center fielder for CBA and scored a third run on the play and Puliafico ended up at second base.
