Santa Ana, CA — On a rainy Thursday evening, the Foothill Knights faced off against the Beckman Patriots in a heated match that ended in a heartbreaking 3-2 defeat. The game, which also marked Senior Night for the Foothill Class of 2025, began with high emotions and celebrations before the whistle blew. However, what followed was a series of early mistakes that ultimately cost the Knights the game, despite a valiant comeback effort.

Santa Ana, CA — With a chill in the air and a touch of fog, the winter soccer season in Southern California has begun. The Foothill Knights faced off against the Bulldogs of Portola on Monday evening under the lights and Foothill High School.

Yorba Linda, CA — Foothill made the trip to Yorba Linda's stadium on a crisp January evening for the last conference game before they kick off Crestview competition next week. Yorba Linda entered the match with 2 consecutive wins after stunning Canyon 4-3 in comeback fashion two days earlier and Foothill was riding a 3 game win streak into the contest. One win streak would come to an end by the end of the evening.

Santa Ana, CA — The second day of the Winter Showcase at Mater Dei saw Foothill take on Pacifica (Oxnard) at 4pm and Mater Dei face Santa Barbara at 6pm. Yesterday, Foothill beat Santa Barbara by a score of 3-2 and Mater Dei dispatched Pacifica (Oxnard) 7-1. Santa Barbara and Pacifica (Oxnard) were the #1 and #2 teams in Santa Barbara county coming into the event.

Fullerton, CA — The Knights traveled to Fullerton on Friday evening to take on the Indians on their home field. Foothill met Fullerton twice last season in the Marina Tournament, losing the first contest by a score of 0-5 and then fighting back to the semi final but still losing 0-1 in the last 2 minutes of play. Foothill has been improving as a squad so far this season and looked to steal a win from the favored Fullerton Indians.

Tustin, CA — Foothill welcomed Beckman to the Northrup Stadium for the last leg of the city championship Wednesday night in the pouring rain. Tustin High School had won the city title the previous 2 seasons (22/23 and 21/22) and Foothill needed to go back 7 years to the 2017/18 season for the last time they held that title. Beckman has never held the city title. The Tustin city title is a bit of a misnomer because Beckman is located in the city of Irvine but is part of TUSD and Foothill is technically located in Santa Ana/County of Orange. Regardless, whether it should be called Tustin Unified District Championship or Tustin City Championship, the competition gives friends and families that attend our area schools an opportunity to determine the champion.

Santa Ana, CA — Foothill traveled to Mater Dei for their Senior Night. The lower levels had upset the favored Monarchs, Frosh/Soph winning 3-1 and JV winning 1-0, and the stage was set for the main event.

Santa Ana, CA — Foothill Mens Soccer program welcomed Crean Lutheran to our home field for their first ever encounter. The temperature dropped off just before game time but Foothill stayed hot, remaining undefeated on their home field. The new nets that adorned Foothill's goals were begging for action and the teams did not disappoint.

Laguna Hills, CA — Foothill traveled to Laguna Hills High School on a clear and cold December evening. Players that had been missing due to nagging injury were back and Foothill was able to take the field with confidence.

Huntington Beach, CA — Foothill met Mountain View for the first time in the HBHS Turf Tournament and came away with a decisive victory.

Santa Ana, CA — Coming off the emotional win over Tustin 2 days ago, the Knights set out to continue their winning streak as the visiting Portola Bulldogs came to Foothill turf under the lights. The Bulldogs got the best of the Knights last season, winning 3-0 on their own field.

Santa Ana, CA — The Foothill Varsity Mens Soccer team took on their crosstown rivals Tustin this evening at Foothill High School under the lights. The Tillers fans showed up in droves to support their team and occupied nearly both stands of the Lilliputian Foothill turf seating. The faithful supporters of the Black and Gold lined the field in standing room only fashion to cheer their team on. Both teams came into the night with previous away wins - Foothill beating Irvine 3-0 and Tustin beating Newport Harbor 1-0. While only the second game of the season, both teams clearly had tonight's game circled in red.

Santa Ana, CA — The Vaqueros of Rancho Alamitos visited the Foothill Knights at home on a chilly Tuesday evening. This was the last of Foothill's stretch of home games and the Knights capped it with a resounding 7-0 victory over the visitors.

Santa Ana, CA — Century High School traveled to Foothill High School on a cold and drizzly Friday night under the lights to take on the Knights. The Knights were coming off a strong opening performance earlier this week in their opener against Northwood, while the Centurions were looking to recover from a 0-2 setback earlier in the week at the hands of Tustin High School.

Santa Ana, CA — Varsity boys picked up where JV left off, securing the victory over Orange HS 6-2 at home last night. The Knights went down 0-1 early off a long ball played in over the top with a great finish by Orange, placing the ball over the advancing keeper, Senior Tommy Gunther.
