Ella delivered an outstanding performance at the Northern Regional Championships this past weekend at McQueen High School, securing the 105-pound title and proving once again that she is one of the top wrestlers in the state.

Izzy headed into the Rollie Lane Invitational determined to snag her first win of the season—and she didn’t just stop at one. She battled her way to an impressive 3-2 record, making a statement on the mat, showing everyone the kind of competitor she is, and making it to day two of a tough tournament where over 90 teams were represented.

Sparks, NV — The Douglas High School girls' wrestling team traveled to Reed High School for the annual Nevada Queens Tournament, eager to compete against some of the best athletes in the state. Representing Douglas, the team stepped onto the mat with five wrestlers, each determined to make an impact in what would prove to be a challenging and competitive event. After a day of tough competition, the Douglas squad left with a total of three medals, marking a strong performance at the tournament.

Winnemucca, NV — This past weekend, the Douglas Varsity Boys' wrestling team took the road trip to Winnemucca, Nevada, for the highly competitive Cody Louk Invitational Tournament. The event stretched over two action-packed days, bringing together some of the best high school wrestling teams from the region. And while the competition was fierce, the Douglas squad stood tall, finishing 6th out of 28 teams—a fantastic accomplishment for the team!
