Freshman Hawks fall to Eagle 8-10

The Hawks baseball game against the Mustangs was a heartbreaker. The Hawks scored six runs in the first to take the lead 6-2. The Hawks maintained the lead till the fourth when the Mustangs tied the game at sevens with a fielders choice to the 3rd baseman Sam Svaty. The next batter hits a ground single to advance a runner to third. The Hawks throw a wild pitch scoring the runner from third and loosing the lead 7-8. The Mustangs put two more runs on the board in the fifth and the Hawks add a single run for a final score of 8-10.

Eagle Runs Away With a Win Over Skyview

Skyview Hawks fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-3 loss to the Eagle Mustanges. Eagle scored on an error in the first inning to start if off for the Mustanges. Ledger Downs got the Hawks on the board when the Eagles first baseman made a ground ball error.

Skyview Freshman Hawks Clings to Victory as Boise Nearly Erases 5-Run Deficit

Despite seeing its five-run lead whittled down by the end, Skyview Freshman Hawks still-held off Boise for a 5-3 victory on Saturday. Boise tallied two runs in the failed comeback. Rodriguez and Hassinger powered the rally with RBIs.

Skyview Freshman Hawks Clinches Lead in Sixth Inning for Victory Over Boise

Skyview Freshman stole the lead late and defeated Boise 16-4 on Saturday. With one out in the top of the sixth Haynes caused Eli Strong to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored. Then the Hawks put up 12 more runs before finishing the first half of the sixth.
