Laguna Beach, CA — Sorry folks. We rebooked this cancellation on 10/18 when LB’s parents revolted and refused to drive to our school due to bus/transportation issues. And we rebooked it at their school, to help them alleviate this problem!

Aliso Viejo, CA — Frosh / Soph improved 200% getting 4 sets this time vs only 2 sets back in September; and we were a tie-breaker away from getting a 5th set win.

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA — While there is no “Trinity League” for the Frosh Soph girls, it’s always a good benchmark to try and measure up to the FS teams from Mater Dei (they have a FS team more often than not) and Santa Margarita (this is only the 2nd time in 14 years they have participated).

Fountain Valley, CA — Playing a regular format: 9 singles sets + 9 doubles sets, JSerra improved by one set from a 15-3 all doubles loss earlier in the season. 2 of our set wins came in doubles, while 2 came in singles in a balanced attack.

San Juan Capistrano, CA — Whoever said Lightning doesn’t strike twice was wrong. Frosh Soph loses rematch 1-17 vs visiting Sage Hill this morning.

San Juan Capistrano, CA — An all doubles format was just getting underway when light rain, followed by lightening and then heavier rain caused the match vs Huntington Beach to be cancelled.

Newport Beach, CA — 3 1/2 weeks after losing to Newport, our A & C travel squads go to Newport Beach and reverse our earlier score, losing only 3 sets in the process.

Irvine, CA — Great team effort by all 9 “red squad” girls who got out early and traveled up to north east Irvine this afternoon. Because we booked a double header for Frosh Soph today, all JSerra players at Northwood got to play 3 full sets of tennis!

Fountain Valley, CA — Our Frosh Soph B & C “travel” squads battled Barons after battling Brookhurst / 405 traffic this afternoon. With only about 10 minutes of warm-up time, we lined up against 30+ girls.

San Juan Capistrano, CA — One of the hottest days of the year on the courts, but we had a great turnout, players and parents. Thank you! All of the girls who showed up on time got to play 2 full sets this afternoon.

Laguna Beach, CA — After a late start and leaving 4 top players “home” to participate in a JV match (thank you!) we took 12 players to Laguna Beach and won the first match of the season by a score of 13-5.

Huntington Beach, CA — JSerra got drilled by the Oilers this morning, in score, but not in spirit, losing 3 - 15. Great parent support, thank you!

San Juan Capistrano, CA — Coach Wilson had her hands full with the Orahood Bros off at La Quinta, but ran a successful, all doubles match at home vs visiting Newport Harbor. Despite the lopsided scores, JSerra had some good wins, and very good efforts otherwise.
