South Amboy, NJ — The Sayreville Bombers boys basketball team delivered a statement win today, pulling away in the fourth quarter to defeat Oratory Prep 75–64 at the Friends of South Amboy Showcase, hosted at South Amboy High School.

Parlin, NJ — The Bombers welcomed the visitor's from Jersey City to a battle on Saturday. The Bulldogs continuously pressured the Bombers, and forced them to be uncomfortable, showing a series of different zone defenses. Despite the constant adjustment of the Bulldogs, and ample pressure, the Bombers were able to overcome. Led by their Freshman Trio, Trevor Yan, Julian Hall, and Noah Trindade, who combined for 51 of the Bombers' 64 points. Braden Freyer also threw in 10 points of his own, contributing to the cause. The Bombers, now on a four game win streak, look to carry their momentum where they host a JV GMC Tournament Game Thursday.

Parlin, NJ — The Bombers hosted the Tigers Tuesday, in a White Division clash. The Bombers gained control of the game early, and refused to waiver. A multitude of Bombers contributed on this day, but the heroics were led by forwards Noah Trindade and Braden Freyer. Trindade led all scorers with an efficient 20 point performance, followed by Freyer pouring in 15 points of his own. The Bombers' dynamic Freshman Backcourt of Trevor Yan and Julian Hall chipped in 13 points and 10 points respectively. Yan and Hall controlled the pace of the game, handled pressure, and created scoring opportunities for their teammates. The Bombers await the Ferris Bulldogs at home Saturday, as well as the seeding of the JV GMC Tournament, where the Bombers hope to be amongst the top seeds.

Princeton, NJ — The Bombers travelled to Princeton, looking to gain another win, and spark a new winning streak. A balanced scoring attack led by Braden Freyer with 15 points propelled the Bombers past the Tigers. Hefty contributions by Trevor Yan, Julian Hall, and Will Lukie, appeared to be the difference maker, as the Bombers gave the Tigers more than they could handle. The Bombers look to extend their win streak to three as the South Plainfield Tigers travel to the Bomb Shelter, in a heavyweight White Division bout, on Tuesday February 4th.

Parlin, NJ — The Bombers faced the Barrons for the second time in five days, and were hopeful for an alternative outcome. The Bombers entered the fourth quarter with a 12-point lead, unfortunately the Bombers could not protect their lead, and avenge their loss. The Barrons proved to be a task too tall for the Bombers to overcome on this day. As the season unwinds, the Bombers look to get back on the right track as East Brunswick travels to the Bomb Shelter Tuesday 1/28.

Parlin, NJ — The Bombers redeemed themselves, and enjoyed a total team victory over the Panthers. As every player scored, the Bombers overwhelmed the Panthers, pouring in 78 points over four quarters. The Bombers moved the ball well, having several players fill up the scoring column. The Bombers look to carry this momentum versus the Woodbridge Barrons at home, a team in which bested the Bombers in their last bout.

South Plainfield, NJ — The Bombers traveled to South Plainfield to face the 10-2 Tigers, a clash of undefeated teams within the division. Facing adversity early on, down by as many as ten points, Julian Hall, Braden Freyer, Trevor Yan, Will Lukie, Noah Trindade, and the Bombers found a way to turn the tide, and escape the Tigers Den victorious. Hall, with 15 of his 32 points in the third quarter, pounced on the Tigers, setting up the Bombers in favorable fashion. The Bombers outscored the Tigers 36-22 in the second half, en-route to securing their victory, and being the sole leader of the White Division. Monroe Township, NJ — Wrapping up the Bombers six-game road trip, Julian Hall and Braden Freyer, led all scorers, with 17 points a piece, propelling the Bombers to victory over the Falcons, in a tightly contested game. Will Lukie added 7 points in the Bombers victorious efforts, clinched by Noah Trindade, forcing a Falcon turnover as the clock expired to seal the Bombers’ 49-48 victory. The Bombers look to carry this momentum and their four game win streak back home to the Bomb Shelter, as they host the hungry South Brunswick Vikings on Tuesday 1/14.

East Brunswick, NJ — The Bombers took the short ride over to face a newcomer to the White Division in the Bears. After falling behind by as many as 12 points in the second quarter, Hall and the Bombers showed their resolve by storming back in a big way in the 2nd half, giving the Bears more than they could handle. Coming out of the locker room for the second half down by eight points, the Bombers seemed determined to leave East Brunswick with a victory. With a 21-point explosion by Julian Hall in the 3rd quarter, the Bombers reclaimed control of the game headed into the 4th quarter. The Bombers, with exceptional performances from Julian Hall, Trevor Yan, and Braden Freyer, maintained their advantage and pulled out a gritty, gutsy 59-56 win to propel them to 5-2. The Bombers, Hall, Yan, and Freyer look to maintain their warrior mentalities as they face a Red Division adversary, on the road, looking to extend their winning streak to four in a row.

North Brunswick, NJ — Julian Hall's dominant performance propelled the Bombers passed the North Brunswick Raiders. Hall's 31 point barrage over three quarters overwhelmed the Raiders, allowing the Bombers to reclaim a winning record. In support, Trevor Yan, William Lukie, Noah Trindade, Braden Freyer, Jeremiah Walker, and Thomas Roberts recorded strong performances from the tip, beginning the game on a 26-8 run. Hall and the Bombers look to carry this momentum to Perth Amboy, as they prepare for another battle on the road.

Perth Amboy, NJ — Braden Freyer led the way of a balanced scoring attack from the Bombers with 17 points. Freshman Julian Hall, Trevor Yan, and Noah Trindade poured in 15, 14, and 11 points respectively, to spark the Bombers first winning streak of the season. The Bombers look to continue their winning ways Thursday as they travel to East Brunswick, to face a divisional foe.

Matawan, NJ — The Bombers win a hard fought battle against Red Division opponent Old Bridge. Saba Tkemaladze had one of the most outstanding performances of the season finishing the game with 31 points and grabbing double digit rebounds to help lead the team to victory. Tyler Yan & Bryce White both chipped in 11 points while Osman and Braden both knocked down 2 three pointers in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
