Fountain Valley, CA — In the final Wave League match of the season, the varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Fountain Valley high school faced off at the Mile Square golf course. With both teams aiming to end the season on a high note, it was Fountain Valley who emerged as the victors with a season-best team score of 187.

Laguna Beach, CA — In a closely contested junior varsity level high school golf match, Laguna Beach High School took on Fountain Valley High School on April 27, 2023. The match was played over 9 holes on the narrow and challenging Ben Browns golf course in Laguna Beach, California.

Costa Mesa, CA — In a Sunset cross-conference varsity golf match, the teams from Laguna Beach High School and Edison High School faced off on Monday, April 24, 2023, at the Los Lagos golf course at Costa Mesa Country Club.

Cypress, CA — The junior varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Los Alamitos high school faced off in a challenging match at the Navy Destroyer golf course in Cypress, California on Tuesday, April 25th. Los Alamitos emerged victorious with a final score of 226, while Laguna Beach fell short with a score of 264.

Laguna Niguel, CA — In a Wave League match, the varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach High School and Los Alamitos High School faced off on April 25, 2023, at the always challenging El Niguel Country Club.

Laguna Beach, CA — The boys' junior varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Edison high school faced off in a Sunset cross-conference match at Ben Browns' golf course on Monday, April 24th. Edison high school emerged victorious with a final score of 189 to Laguna Beach's 215.

Laguna Beach, CA — The junior varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Newport Harbor high school faced off last Thursday afternoon at Ben Browns' golf course at The Ranch in Laguna Beach, California. Newport came away victorious with a final score of 192 to Laguna Beach's 232.

Huntington Beach, CA — The junior varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Marina high school faced off on a beautiful day at the Meadowlark golf course in Huntington Beach, California. Marina emerged victorious with a final score of 213 to Laguna Beach's 251.

Costa Mesa, CA — The boys' varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Newport Harbor high school faced off in a Wave League match at Mesa Linda golf course in Costa Mesa, California. Newport Harbor emerged victorious with a final score of 179 to Laguna Beach's 214.

Huntington Beach, CA — The Breakers JV golf team traveled to Meadowlark golf course in Huntington Beach on Tuesday, April 18th, to play Huntington Beach high school in a 9-hole match. Huntington Beach proved too strong and they defeated Laguna 195-261.

Laguna Beach, CA — The varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach High School and Newport Harbor High School faced off in a cross-conference match at the Ben Browns golf course at The Ranch in Laguna Beach, on April 18, 2023. Despite the Breaker's second-best team score of the season compared to par, 213, it was Newport Harbor High School that emerged victorious with a score of 178.

Laguna Niguel, CA — On a beautiful sunny day at the El Niguel Country Club in Laguna Niguel, California, the varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Marina high school faced off in a Sunset Conference, cross league match on April 6, 2023.

Costa Mesa, CA — On a sunny day at the Mesa Linda golf course in Costa Mesa, California, the boys' varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Corona Del Mar high school competed in a Sunset Conference cross-league match. Ultimately, Corona Del Mar emerged victorious, finishing with a score of 184 to Laguna Beach's 224.

Laguna Niguel, CA — The varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach High School and Fountain Valley High School squared off on a windy day at the challenging El Niguel Country Club course in Laguna Niguel, California. The match was a closely contested affair, but it was Fountain Valley who emerged victorious with a score of 225 to Laguna Beach's 236.

Cypress, CA — In a varsity-level high school golf match that took place on March 30, 2023, Los Alamitos high school defeated Laguna Beach high school by a score of 214 to 260. The match was held at the challenging Navy Destroyer golf course in Cypress, California.

Laguna Niguel, CA — The Breakers played a non-league match against San Juan Hills HS at El Niguel Country Club on Wednesday. After a rainy morning, the sun came out just in time for the first tee shot and it was a beautiful day on the tough El Niguel course.

Laguna Beach, CA — The LB varsity team played a wave league match against a strong Newport Harbor team on Tuesday at Ben Browns at The Ranch. While Newport was never really at risk during the match, winning 176-215, some of the Laguna players had good days on the course.

Laguna Beach, CA — It was a great finish to the regular season, as the varsity team score of 209 equaled their team-low score of the year on the Ben Browns course.

Cypress, CA — The Breaker's JV boys golf team traveled to the Navy Destroyer golf course in Cypress to play Marina high school in our final Wave League match of the season. It's always a challenging course to play, with water and doglegs on many of the holes, and at least a 1-2 club wind hurting or helping on most holes. Carl Jiang again posted the low score for the team with a 47, followed closely by Chase Tyson with a 50. In addition, Evan Kretschmer posted 55, which is one of his best scores for the season on a tougher full-length golf course. The team score of 268 was right in line with the season averages for a full-length course.

Irvine, CA — The LBHS varsity golf team hosted Fountain Valley high school at Rancho San Joaquin golf course on Tuesday 4/26/22 for another Wave League Match. The Breaker's first group of senior captain Jake Cutter and sophomore Russell Franconi-Krychman got off to a hot start with both of them making a birdie on the first hole! Both of them ended up with low scores for the team, posting 45 and 44 respectively. In addition, senior Harrison Judd came through with one of his best scores of the season, posting a 47. Overall, the team score of 232 was the second best score of the year relative to par on a full-length course.

Fountain Valley, CA — The JV team traveled to David L Baker golf course on Monday, 4/25/22, to play Fountain Valley high school in a Wave League match. The Breakers had a great day, posting their lowest team score of the year with a 207 on the par 31 course.

Huntington Beach, CA — The JV team for Laguna traveled to Meadowlark golf course in Huntington Beach for a match against the Edison Chargers on Tuesday. Edison won the match on their home course. Freshman Carl Jiang posted the low score for Laguna with a 45.

Laguna Beach, CA — On Wednesday the Breakers hosted a cross-conference match against Edison HS at Ben Browns golf course. Edison plays in the Surf League of the Sunset Conference, which is one of the best leagues in the county. It showed as they shot a combined +6 as a team to win the match.

Laguna Beach, CA — On Wednesday, May 26th the JV players teed it up at Ben Brown's golf course for the final round of the 2021 JV Championship. It looked like a two-player race to begin the day, with Chase Tyson holding a 6 stroke lead over Jackson Lawsky. Both players had a comfortable gap on the rest of the players, with 3rd and 4th place George Saba and Cooper Wollen over ten strokes back.

Santa Ana, CA — On Wednesday, May 19th, the varsity team traveled to the oldest golf course in Orange County - Willowick golf course in Santa Ana, to play our final wave league match of the year against Fountain Valley HS. The players responded with our best team score of the year, posting a total of 218 on the par 35 course.

Laguna Beach, CA — On Wednesday, May 19th the JV players were again at Ben Brown's golf course for the second round of the 2021 JV Championship. The race for the tournament winner in both scoring and putting remains close and is still up for grabs.

Laguna Beach, CA — The first round of the 2021 JV Championship tournament got started on Wednesday, May 12th at Ben Brown's in Laguna.

Cypress, CA — Laguna varsity played a windy Navy Destroyer course in Cypress, CA today against Los Alamitos high school. We posted our best team score of the season, coming in with a 226 total (best 5 scores).  It's great to see the team continue to shoot better and better scores as the season progresses.

Santa Ana, CA — The Laguna boys JV team traveled to Willowick golf course (the oldest course in Orange County) to play a Wave league match against Marnia high school from Huntington Beach. The Breakers posted a team score of 262 and Marina shot 235. The team-low score of 49 came from freshman Chase Tyson. The rest of the team scoring came from Stephen Schaefer 50, Cooper Wollen 51, Benji Jenkins 54, and Jackson Lawsky 58.

Mission Viejo, CA — The LBHS boys JV team played at Oso Creek golf course against Santa Margarita Catholic high school. As a team, Laguna shot 241 and SMCHS shot 206. The low scores for Laguna came from sophomores Ayden Ardell and Lorenzo Lahijani, with both of them posting a score of 46. Freshman Stephen Schaefer followed with a score of 47. Benji Jenkins (So) and Jackson Lawsky (Fr) shot 50 to round out the team scoring. Scores for the rest of the players included Cooper Wollen 52, Chase Tyson 53, and Ranen Seeck 56.

Cypress, CA — On Monday, May 3rd, the JV team traveled to The Navy Golf facility in Cypress, CA to take on Wave League rival Los Alamitos high school on the Cruiser course. All the players on the team have been working hard in practice and they were rewarded with a season-low, team score of 230. Sophomore Cooper Wollen lead the way with a score of 44. He was followed by freshman Chase Tyson with a 45. The top 5 scores were rounded out by Lorenzo Lahijani (So), Jackson Lawsky (Fr), and Stephen Schaefer (Fr) who all shot 47. Benji Jenkins (So) posted 50 and Ranen Seeck (Fr) was close behind with a 53. Congratulations JV team!

Aliso Viejo, CA — The varsity team played our first match of the year at our usual home course at Aliso Viejo CC. It was a good day overall with the team posting a season-low team score of 223. Kason Schilling shot 42 which was the low score for the team; it was also his low score of the season. In fact, several players shot their season-low scores, including Kason at 42, Harrison Judd at 44, and Luke Hendrickson at 44. Jake Cutter posted 43 and Oliver Mackel shot 48 to round out the 5 low scores for the team.

Laguna Beach, CA — The Laguna varsity players teed it up with Huntington Beach and Newport Harbor, two of the top teams in Orange County. It was a good opportunity for our players to see some high-level golf, with several of the HB and Newport players already set to play golf in college next year.
