Hoffman Estates, IL — Michael Gonzalez collected three hits in five at bats, but the Zee-Bees lost to Hoffman Estates l16-13 lGonzalez singled in the sixth inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth inning.

Zion, IL — The Zee-Bees defeated the Waukegan Bulldogs 10-1 on Monday. The Bees got on the board in the bottom of the firs tinning after two errors plated 3 runs. Jack Marabella then added to the scoring with a sacrifice fly to right field, scoring Mikey Gonzalez.

Zion, IL — In a high-scoring affair, the Zee-Bees fell to the Rolling Meadows Mustangs on Saturday.

Zion, IL — The Zee-Bees battled until the end but the Wheeling Wildcats pulled away late in an 8-7 victory on Saturday. Both teams exchanged the lead back and forth in the game, but the Wildcats took the lead for good in the 7th inning.

Grayslake, IL — The Zee-Bees fell in their first contest of the year 9-4 to Grayslake North. The Bees captured the lead in the top of the 3rd 3-1 after Brayden Duran singled, Michael Gonzalez singled, and Andrew Mitchell hit into a fielder's choice, scoring 3 runs. The Knights recaptured the lead in the bottom of the inning, hitting 2 home runs, and never relinquished the lead. The Zee-Bees fought back, putting up 1 more run in the top of the sixth when AJ Neargarder singled in courtesy runner Ivan Jones. Neargarder took the loss on the mound, throwing 3 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 5 hits, striking out 5, and walking 1. Ryan Dunne pitched one inning of scoreless relief. The Zee-Bees return to action tomorrow traveling to Niles North to take on the Vikings at 4:45 pm.

Waukegan, IL — In dramatic fashion under the lights at Bowen Park, the Zee-Bees defeated the Waukegan Bulldogs 4-3 to sweep the conference series.

Zion, IL — The Zee Bees fell tonight to the Mundelein Mustangs 5-1. Rafael "Junior" Villalobos took the loss for the Zee Bees throwing 4 strong innings only giving up two runs, scattering 7 hits, and striking out 4. The Mustangs put 3 across in the 5th against Sean Sarzaba in his first outing of the year to put the game out of reach for the Bees. Ryan Dunne came in relief of Sean and threw a solid 1 and 1/3's innings of relief, striking out 3. The Bees attempted to mount a comeback in the top of the 7th when Henry Stried hit a long double to the warning track in right-center field. Malachi Baartz moved him to third on a ground out to second and Dom Diliberti drove in the Bee's only run on a ground out to second. The Zee Bees are back at it against Mundelein tomorrow at 4:45 pm.

Mundelein, IL — The Zee-Bees had trouble keeping up with Mundelein in an 11-1 loss on Tuesday. Ethan McDonald took the loos for the Zee Bees. He threw 4 and 1/3 innings, giving up 8 hits while striking out 3. Ryan Dunne had the lone hit for the Bees, doubling in the top of the third. Elijah Hudson scored the Bees lone run, reaching base by getting hit by a pitch. This game finishes the season for the Zee-Bees. Waukegan, IL — The Zee-Bees coasted to an easy victory over Waukegan 12-2 on Monday. The Bees opened up scoring in the first inning. Gavin Osborne drove in the first run. The Bees scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning. Jaxon Zaugra, Ethan McDonald, and Jack Marabella each had RBIs in the big inning. Ryan Dunne started the game for the Bees lasting two innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out three. Dominik Leith earned the win for the Bees on the mound. He threw five innings, allowing zero runs on four hits, and struck out five. Jack Marabella led the Zee Bees with two hits in three at bats. Noah Espinosa led the Bees on the basepaths, swiping two of the Zee-Bees seven stolen bases.

Lake Forest, IL — The Zee-Bees struck first, but were unable to contain the offense of the Scouts. Ryan Dunne took the loss for the Zee-Bees. He lasted 3 innings allowing 4 hits and 4 runs while striking out 5. Dunne also went 1-2 at the plate, providing the sole hit for the Bees.
